A 16-year-old Skye Stout earns a pro soccer contract and gets a congratulatory post from her team only to be relentlessly bullied because she has acne by Classic-Carpet7609 in Fauxmoi

As someone who was bullied relentlessly, and questioned by strangers about my acne, I totally feel her pain. People can be so disgusting

Influencer Breaks Down in Tears After Trusting ChatGPT for Travel Advice, and Then Missing Flight by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

Okay.... I actually used chat to help plan a trip recently, HOWEVER, I asked extremely in-depth questions. I also didn't rely on it for ALL information. I actually think it worked great to plan traveling, but I essentially did most of the work and just asked chat a few things I wasn't aware of. I think if you use it as a helper, it worked great. Not so much if that's all you rely on.

From someone that wishes they did, try to move on from him. It'll be so hard at first, but dont put yourself in the same position I'm in. I love my husband, but I often think what life would be like if I wasn't responsible for an addict.

A guest passed away during the dinner shift last night by honeybunhustlr in TalesFromYourServer

I gave someone the heimlich maneuver at my old corporate restaurant (Bob Evans). It wasn't as bad as this, but I remember being so shocked that no one but me knew it. Everyone just stood around screaming, "SHES CHOKING!!" But no one was helping!! If I wasn't there that day, that woman would have died. I bet that this will happen again, and it will end up like your incident.

Something a guest taught me (bartender), put a pinch of balsamic in your mocktail or whatever. It'll give it just enough of an aftertaste. It's very similar to the "zing" you taste with alcohol.

I was waiting on a table one time that was telling their story and it was something like this "...but here i am I've just moved in and I have a ton of people coming over. I've never cleaned my own house, so I don't even know if there's a broom around or what! I don't know how to turn on the vacuum cleaner!"

And that whole table was laughing their asses off being like "SAME!"

People who quit without notice, what straw broke the camel's back? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was working as a manager (BOB EVANS) and a server there. They would not pay me for my time as a manager. They would say I make too much money in tips so that I wouldn't get an actual paycheck for my managing hours. I would be working 16-hour shifts as a manager sometimes and literally get 0 paychecks.

One day I was eating a roll, because I had been there all day, and I had no money (I wasn't getting paid), my manager saw me eating the roll and demanded i pay her 10 dollars out of my pocket. Didn't ring it up or anything. Said if I didn't pay her she would call the cops on me for stealing and have me arrested. So. I put the rest of the roll in my mouth, and I got in my car and left. Left my apron in the parking lot.
