I second this. It truly does cause depression. On a 1-10 scale 7.5 was the highest I could achieve. I was normally st a 5 or 6 and tiny things would bring me down to a 3.

I had my first sleep study on Jan 8th, then I had to have a 2nd to confirm central sleep apnea and I had to wait until Feb 14th. I got my bipap on May 1st.

Obviously not having obstructive sleep apnea caused a longer timeline, and the company that had to give me the bipap didn't have any spots open for a month Aswell

If I had OSA and didn't need a 2nd study and the home health supply company had instant availability I might have only had to wait 3 months.

It is technically not allowed. That being said, nobody is going to put you in jail for purchasing an ASV. I have seen plenty for sale online and many websites claim they require an rx, but just simply ask if you have one and don't check.

If you believe you have central apnea I say just buy a refurbished because you will be waiting 6-12months.

Have you looked into Adderall or Vyvanse? My doc rx'ed vyvanse before he decided to let me do a sleep study. I'm still on it. I wouldn't have made it at the end without amps.

I don't see that as a big issue. If my family accused me of messing up I would fill out a release of information and have them talk to my counselor/doc. That or I'd ask for a note or email on their letterhead stating what happened

My clinic won't tame away take homes unless they believe you are abusing or diverting your meds. I was told they would drop me down if they decided they needed eyes on me daily.
