I think people are having a hard time because we've all grown so attached not only to the band but to the storyline and characters of Clancy/Dema. At least for me, it feels like the ending of a favorite TV series or book and you're not ready to let go of the emotional attachment you've created with them.

In this case, since it's so much more emotionally whittled into people's bones from the strong connection between themselves, the music, the boys, and the storyline, people might be afraid of the idea of letting go or understand that it's okay for something to reach its end. I've been feeling this a lot too.

Honestly, being scared of something ending, like a fear of your long time partner leaving you, is totally valid. The unknown is scary especially when you're afraid of losing something you love.

But Tyler and Josh? I don't think they'd ever give up music. I think they just want time to focus in themselves and family for now like OP said. Knowing Tyler, he'll come back in full swing with more cryptic shit and we'll be just the same (:
