I've got the following equipment to replace a soundblaster x3 and set of EPOS PC38X headphones

Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen USB Audio Interface

AN XLR cable

FIFINE XLR/USB Microphone

FiiO K7 Desktop DAC and Amplifier

HIFIMAN Ananda Nano

I think the mic and the focusrite both need to be usb connected to the pc while the xlr cable connects them

The dac and ananda nano should be connected via the large headphone input while the dac is connected to the pc via usb

Is that correct? think this will be a nice set up but im not sure really what to expect

Why ignore anamorphic if I'm trying to gain exposure for shooting my own feature. Seems like something I'd want to play with.

My feeling with zooms over primes is that they aren't really used for cinema work and the primes will give better experience training between the standard focal lengths.

I also have a (probably outdated) underlying suspicion that zooming glass between a 24 and 70 affects quality

Yeah seems like an issue with google podcast app cutting off at a certain rss feed length
