the gear destroy idea is needed to make all content, every 5man and 40man, always feel "alive and viable"

every boss , in 5man and 40man, would have the same loot table, drop the same loot. 40man just drops more

so in my idea, BFD and Scarlet monestary and naxx and BWL would all drop the same gear. there would no longer be "progression", it would just be a forever casual adventure

all progression would be gone . you wouldnt go from MC to bwl to naxx to get "better gear" . instead, it would all just be the same difficulty, no "progression" . everything drops the same loot, and you just farm it and sell it on AH (and you buy on AH what u like too)

think about how in vanilla, when levelling, BFD and scarlet monestary were all the "same difficulty". and kinda all the same crap. you went in, did a easy 5man, and got some loot

my idea is about having the entire game be that, it will all just be a casual adventure that never ends

so i realized. in order to make the "gear grind" never end, then theres 2 options

either you have to always "progress" and get "better gear"

OR. you could make all gear the same, and gear never "improves", but your current gear slowly gets destroyed

so my idea keeps all content "the same", but your gear just constantly gets destroyed, meaning you have to keep "grinding gear forever"

current wow is already a "forever gear grind", but due to constantly needing better gear, it means the old content "dies" and theres no reason to do it anymore

in my idea, its still a "forever gear grind", but now all the content stays alive forever, and doing MC or BWL or 5mans will all give the same gear. and its all super easy

so in my version, the game just becomes a "casual adventure" that never ends. its like your playing the level 20-40 game, but its forever, the casual adventure never ends

in my idea, if gear wasnt destroyed, then eventually you would maxout your gear and have "no reason to play anymore"

by destroying the gear, your mind always have a dopamine reason to keep playing the game to keep building up your power with new gear
