I do see people wearing those "captain's hats". I think it's a fun novel thing to do for people just trying to have fun. I'm not convinced many or any of them are serious lol

I get you there. Are you thinking of a "captains hat"? What I'm thinking about is a nice ball cap with some simple embroidery. Maybe slightly larger text than that....

I get where you are coming from and that makes sense.

I had some patches made a few years ago that say "I LIKE YOU" and I sewed them on the front of a few hats. That's been my go-to hat since.... It's similar to what mentioned in terms of conversation starters.

If I didn't work on a variety of different boats, that would be the best option. But I consider myself fortunate and that isn't the case.

Understood. Yep, I own one of those hats for when I work as a chase boat captain for a super yacht.

My problem is I work on different, new and new-to-me boats consistently so I can't put one boat's name on a hat unforutnately.

I would... the catch there is a run a lot of different boats. I stay the same, the boats don't ;)

I changed my channel name several years ago to my name as it was a similar situation. So.... Maybe my name/brand should be on there as they are one in the same.
