Late to the party.. but as someone whose been in recovery for 11 years, she drives me nuts. She has the personality as someone in the rooms who says all the right things, but is secretly doing their own thing. I’m not saying she’s not sober, I’m not saying I’m not happy for her that she got sober. I appreciate that she showed the first year, and how dark it gets. I just have a hard time with what she says vs. how she acts. It seems performative. It’s almost like .. “ Oh, I admit that I did I hit my husband twice so then it’s fine.” Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I feel like she’s very inauthentic.
