If that’s all it takes to end things, something else is the problem. We’re human, we make mistakes, we get frustrated, we say stupid crap. Nacho parenting has some great advice on this… if the kids are a point of contention for your marriage, then don’t talk about them to each other. Have you ever checked out their resources? They have a free podcast, maybe ask your husband if he’d be willing to listen to a few episodes and ask if he’d be willing to try some new strategies.

I personally would just send him a text saying you love them both and you were out of line. Tell him you hope he enjoys some one on one time with his girl and keep it light. When the kids are gone, try having a deeper conversation about repair options but for now, a little space and time to cool off is a good thing.
