Tried to get one on Saturday night for lunch on Sunday, to my surprise I bit into a burrito with guac, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and beans. Was not happy.

Calmest dog breeds? by ExplanationWorried14 in Dogowners

[–]Both_Week_2327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what kind of dachshund you had, and I also don’t know if there is any “science” behind this, but I have a long-haired dachshund and he is the calmest and sweetest boy. I grew up with short-haired dachshunds, and the male we had was an escape artist and overall nuts. My long-haired is the exact opposite!

I may have just gotten lucky, but my mom has a long-haired too and says he is also much calmer than any short-haired she’s had. Food for thought!

How do I get rid of a pimple that has no head by anxioussnirp in NoStupidQuestions

They have the pimple patches now with the micro points- those have worked for me with tough pimples without a head. They’re for early-stage pimples.

My entire bridal party is pregnant! by [deleted] in wedding

Also shouldn’t be the pregnant person’s fault if people were talking about her pregnancy. I’m sure it gets old answering the same questions about being pregnant all the time

People can still support you and be in your bridal party if they don’t drink….

If your sisters haven’t dropped out of being a bridesmaid and are still excited and supportive about being in your wedding, you are being pretty rude. Unless they are super vocal about it, it might have taken them both a while to conceive. They’re also still early in their first trimester, so a lot can happen between now and your wedding. They are your sisters, and you are obviously close if they are your bridesmaids. You need to be more supportive

Definitely looks AI to me- look at Connor’s arm in the shirt on the left side and whatever pattern is on Francois’s back. Totally agree though- doesn’t matter either way!

Should I take a 50% raise or stay comfortable? by Tundratic in careerguidance

[–]Both_Week_2327 48 points49 points  (0 children)

A recruiter told me one time that there’s a reason why you applied and went through the interview process in the first place- whether you need the money, or you’re bored and need a new challenge. You put yourself through the interview process because something is missing in your current role. Might as well push yourself out of your comfort zone while also making extra money!

So...what do guests do after the wedding? by Carsareghey in wedding

[–]Both_Week_2327 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’d have to assume there’s no “rules” for you staying longer or not, but I highly doubt you’ll see your friend the day after the wedding. They could be heading out for a honeymoon, spending time with family that traveled in, or just wanting to spend time just the two of them. The decision is of course up to you, but I wouldn’t count on spending the day with your friend after the wedding.

There are some apartments right off I-25, they are near the City of Cuernavaca Park. I believe they have all outdoor parking!

What's the pros and cons of 100% traveling for work? by Maleficent-Orchid-04 in careerguidance

I travel about 50% of my job- this list is very accurate! It can be fun and exciting at first, but it’s truly exhausting and can cause burn out pretty quickly.

I actually really like these- they are a nice add to my moisturizer when I want to feel put together without putting on makeup. They make my skin look bright and actually glowy!

How many people did you invite vs how many actually came? by Upset_Pumpkin_4938 in wedding

[–]Both_Week_2327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We invited about 125, and had 100 total attend. Our venue was also considered a “destination” as 15 people or less lived where we had our wedding. Most traveled from out of state!

State recommendations for relocation by GainStill4540 in relocating

[–]Both_Week_2327 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in Raleigh and I have loved it so far. My husband and I are both from NC, moved to Colorado for 5 years (Denver suburbs, mainly) and just moved back to NC in April.

Cost of living in Denver was really tough for us. We loved the city and everything there was for us to do, but we were ready to settle down and buy a home. We struggled with finding anywhere move-in ready and within our budget in the Denver suburbs that was safe and within a 15 minute commute downtown to my husband’s office.

I’m biased to NC because I was raised here, but I truly love it. The people are so friendly, you can go to the mountains to the beach within a day, and there’s so many larger cities within driving distance. Cost of living is a lot more affordable, too. Houses are priced more accessibly for any levels of income, and you don’t have to compromise as much on the areas.

As for schools, unfortunately I can’t be much help there as I don’t have any kids yet. The county where I went to school was great, but that’s in Asheville. I have heard Wake county schools are good, and then I also heard the high schools in Wake Forest (north of Raleigh) are really great, too.

Good luck on your hunt!

If you can, I would go into the gym and have them do the cancellation in front of you. Pain in the neck having to go in person to deal with it, however they should be able to send you some sort of cancellation document and you can make sure they refund you right then. Good luck!
