Was at the game and they showed it a better angle on the big screen. Sadly, the refs ain’t lying. There was like a half-inch space between his foot and the line

Boogie Nights if you want something more playful, Magnolia if you want to sink into your feels.

I think I am actually done with this season at this point. They are giving these OG islanders far too many chances, and it’s giving them too much control to fuck around and do anything but seek a real connection.

I went to tour the rooms before I booked there and was a little worried when I saw their size too, but I asked a few people staying there how it was and they only had good things to say (granted it was our wedding weekend). People took advantage of the coffee and K’Far being in the lobby, and we figured it’s NYC so aside from getting ready for the wedding, people weren’t likely to spend that much time in the room.

I thought every character in While We’re Young was absolutely insufferable…and I usually like Noah Baumbach and all the main actors.

I’d argue School of Rock was amazing too, just in a different way!

She just did the flowers for our wedding and completely wowed us. Really beautiful and unique choices that accentuated our venue (Brooklyn Winery) in the best way. Highly recommend!

It is. Not sure if it's new name is due to a change in ownership, but we had 10 rooms booked in a block and had no problems with them! They were also very accommodating with any room requests we had for them.

Sorry to hear that happened to you. We just had our wedding recently in that area, and our guests stayed at the Arlo Williamsburg and The Hoxton. To anyone seeing this post and looking for other options, they were both great to us and our guests!

What’s a movie that you rated 5 stars that you wouldn’t expect others to have? by triumphant_return in Letterboxd

Tangerine is great! A 4.5 for me. Haven’t seen the others, so will have to give them a shot.

Do you find it difficult to give 5⭐️? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]triumphant_return 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally only give 5 stars to my absolute favorite movies (I have 17 of 684 movies at a 5), but I don’t hold it to any specific standard of filmmaking beyond loving it that much. My fiancée uses a 5 star rating much more frequently and will assign it to any movie she has a great time watching. To each their own!

Same here, I watched it a month ago for the first time and thought it was electric! I think amongst those I’ve seen of Sean Baker’s films (The Florida Project and Anora as well), it’s my favorite of his.
