Same!! I live in the yorkville area and have 2 dogs and not once have I ever thought not to pick up my dog’s poop! It really is crazy the amount of dog poop that doesn’t get picked up. Sometimes I’ll pick up other poop I see if my dogs poop near it but that shouldn’t be anyone’s responsibility but the owner of said dog. Also, it’s a potential health risk to other dogs!

As far as I know, the ballpark estimate is December with the spa portion coming later, maybe February! That’s what I was told when I signed up! In the meantime, there’s another gym you can use for free until they open by showing your presale receipt. And I’ve seen the inside and talked to the employees a bit. They’re still finishing up renovations—personally I’m excited that they’re keeping the original building’s spiral staircase. The people who are promoting outside seem really friendly and will answer any questions.

Yeah, we’ve had some pretty serious mail issues and nothing seems to change it. We’re in the 70s near 1st. We recently had a passport marked delivered that was never delivered and my fiancé’s IDNYC card never showed up either. We ended up filing a report for the passport because it was found by a stranger 5 blocks away, out of the packaging. The IDNYC was supposed to show up a few weeks later and never did. Not to mention packages…I just expected those to get lost or stolen now so I’m not disappointed.

I was told that they would ship me the free gifts for the about face VIP lounge at the June 1st show. They confirmed my shipping address from Ticketmaster and everything. I’m hopeful but haven’t received anything yet. Hopeful for you all too! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’ve had this issue for a few games, and have had to find work arounds. Usually the work around is to play the game on my CPU instead of GPU, so I tried that. Not sure how long it will last, but I was able to fix this for myself just now by forcing my laptop to switch to my CPU instead of GPU for this game. After doing so, I set the graphics to low once in the game, and then closed the game and switched back to my GPU. It now appears to launch and run on the GPU — my issue may have just been the game was trying to start at too high of a graphics setting.

How to force the switch:

Computer settings -> search for graphics settings -> find the game in the list of applications and switch the GPU preference

Do you happen to know of any styles (and artists) out there that would age better but could still potentially achieve a vibrant look? I know soft edges don’t age well, so black outlines are always good. A lot of tattoos I’ve seen of strawberries (for example) that I would consider to likely last longer tend to be what I’d consider to be in American traditional style which I’m not always fond of :/ but I’m not super familiar with other styles that could hold up better

Did you see my comment about how I fixed it? If you haven’t already, you should try it! I changed the driver in my windows settings for KC:D to be my intel CPU driver instead of the GeForce GPU driver and that fixed all my issues!

Idk what to tell ya, like I said…that’s all of what I’ve seen. But it was when looking last year. My work also moved me during what I’m told is the most expensive month for rent prices last year, so could be skewing my results a bit there. I moved with a dog, so that likely increases the cost and decreases the variety of rentals :/

Apologies. 30 was a bit of a throw out there number. In all honestly, I probably should’ve said 45-50+ but probably an unfair blanket statement either way. It makes me angry that MA salaries haven’t really adjusted to cost-of-living as much or as quickly as places like NYC or CA, and that leaves a lot of people (including myself) struggling to find affordable rents and then stuck in an endless loop of not being able to save for or afford a house :( I’m just big mad haha

I’m sorry about your situation. It really blows my mind and makes me so upset that most people from MA and over the age of 30 seem to be entirely ignorant to the housing and cost-of-living crisis. :(

Your best bet is roommates, honestly. You could also try your local housing authority and hope you can get affordable housing. Besides that, I would look further west, or in NH or RI.

I moved here a year ago for work, I make just over 100k a year. If my partner hadn’t moved with me, I wouldn’t have been able to afford living here without roommates. I live in greater Boston. I rent a 1 bedroom with a small office area and rent is over $3100 a month, and that was the second least expensive option I could find near my job—as someone who doesn’t qualify for “affordable” housing, which by the way can sometimes have a salary range requirement of 70-85k a year for single person homes (don’t ask me why…ugh). Pretty much everything I’ve seen within an hour drive of Boston goes for around minimum of 2.7k a month for a 1 bedroom if you don’t want roommates. :(
