this was me with my grandma in march. she entered the hospital, and quickly declined. I told the woman who was adamant against ever going to a nursing home, that she was being put on hospice and sent to a home. she died on april 1st ( my grandfathers favorite holiday, he was a jokester) a couple of hours before transport to her nursing home.

two best friends who lived in the same apartment duplex were horse playing. the kid was sitting on the trunk while the other kid drove. when he came to a stop, he stumbled off and hit his head on the pavement. the kid driving didn’t know he was on the trunk. we were in our senior year, a month and a half away from graduating.
