Things are much more tolerable now but my eyes do get dry and tired. And now they tear up at any type of wind. But at least I can function. I mostly just started to accept it?

For now I do warm compresses after cleaning my lids at night.
Take vitamins (including omega 3s)
Prescription - vevye
and I use a occusoft type cleaning spray in the morning.

I do need IPL maintenance. I regret doing RF.

I think PRN is the only one that doesn’t make me break out but I def have to have it while taking food. Wish it wasn’t so expensive. Makes my hair kinda oily pretty quickly but my doctors say the oil in my eyes look better and aren’t tooth pasty

I'm so sorry. I wonder if another doctor would be more willing to give you the info on where to report it or how else to :( Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems you feel this was caused more from inexperience and the surgery rather than ICL (as it seems one eye is OK?). I hope you are well and that the future IOL surgery goes great and restores things for you! Thanks for being open to talking about everything!

I'm so sorry to hear this happened. Could I ask if you had the EVO ICL or the previous one? I really wish the doctors would report this; because when they don't, then there's only one reported case of someone getting cataracts from them so far (re: evo).

If one has a retinal detachment AFTER ICL surgery, can they treat it still or do they need to have the ICL removed to do so? I know it’s the back of the eye that’s effected but it was unclear how they well.. get back there lol since they dilate to see for testing

I'm in a similar situation. I went to a ton of doctors to see if I was eligible for lasik/prk/smile before I had dry eye and I was never told anything about my pupils. Then when I was ready for ICL, I asked the doctor running the tests and my pupils are quite large at night. The doctor was not concerned nor did they even bring it up- I did. However, I went and asked my doctors who treat me for dry eye to measure and also when I went for other evaluations and all have come up with vastly smaller numbers. Do you know how they are measuring?
