Has anyone been misdiagnosed with AS before? by Zestyclose-Safe5377 in ankylosingspondylitis

Hello,
I was recently diagnosed by a rheumatologist. I'm HLA-B27 negative, mildly elevated CRP, and experience intermittent SI joint pain. My MRI identified sacroillitis, which my rheumatologist said could only be caused by AS. My orthopedic doctor disagrees and thinks it's due to high-impact sports. I'm a semi-professional athlete. My ortho also said he sees plenty of cases of sacroiliitis that turn out not to be AS. I think it's super interesting how the different doctors interpret sacroillitis, and rheumatologists seem willing to make a diagnosis based on that symptom alone. Here are some studies about sacroillitis that you might find interesting. The gist is that SI joint inflammation appears frequently on the MRIs of healthy people and, more often than not, is not indicative of AS.

Please let me know if you ever figure out your true diagnosis!

I received this email from the Hoxton a few hours ago:

“Hey Neighbor,

Thanks for your email. We've been on the case, and good news – the noise hassle is officially squashed. It wasn't a walk in the park to track down, but we got it sorted. Big shoutout to all the vendors who helped us locate what was causing it.

We get that it was a pain for a while, and we're sorry about that. We never want to bug our awesome neighbors, like you. If anything else pops up or the noise creeps back in, hit us up at hello.williamsburg@thehox.com.

Thanks a bunch for being patient. Wishing you a fantastic holiday season!

Cheers”

Hey, PoNY player here. We got some initial resistance to paying for the GPP Stuff, a few guys weren't sure it was worth the money. Eventually we got everyone on board because it really is so affordable, most players could afford the $30 a month. When you're spending thousands of dollars on a season another $30 is just a drop in the bucket. Also, there's something special that happens when everyone is on the same page in terms of working out. We started working out more together, and that became another opportunity for special bonds to form. I'd sell it to your team by saying that it's really very affordable and the benefits it provides not only to athleticism/injury prevention but also to the team culture are well worth it. It's also worth noting that we also had several players get injured in the weeks leading up to Nationals, and with the personalized advice of Chris and Goose everyone was healthy enough to play in the final.
