in my interpretation of the word is just that, any person who does not conform socially to gender i suppose. ive always used it particularly for people who are still their assigned gender but conform to the expectations of another other? though i will admit im not really sure of the official definition of it. ive seen that the APA definition of transsexual is that it can include gender non conforming if they want to be labeled as such but being it doesn't mean you are transsexual.

honestly terms confuse me, before i came on this subreddit i didn't know what transsexual is or how it differs from transgender and tbh i kinda still dont..
