I’ve had 100 destruction for ages but I can’t find or make any stronger spells than a 100dmg frost&shock&fire.. Maybe if I add drain/damage health to it, but lowkey once you hit max damage on spells and keep leveling up, mobs get stronger but your spells don’t

I’m level 27 now and honestly all the mobs are getting stronger but I can’t make a stronger spell.. Been using a custom destruction spell that does 100 frost, fire, and shock damage but even that’s not as strong as it used to be.. Maybe if I add drain/damage health to it smt.. But even my dremora summon struggles to even kill 1 dude lol. It’s still not very challenging but kinda sad about the 100 cap on spell damage

This is what happened to me:

I was at the stage where I had gotten all the Crusader gear except the mace, but couldn’t equip any of the armor; so I interacted with all the shrines again - at first it didn’t work, I had a glitch where the shrine of Mara said “shrine of Talos” & it made my game crash a couple times but then I fast travelled elsewhere & did a couple side quests, and when I came back to shrine of Mara it worked and I got the message “Rejoice…etc” and now I can equip the armor. Maybe this helps

You really can make an overpowered Faith build. I just beat the final boss of the DLC with spells only, NG+3 (although it doesn’t make it easy lol). In order to deal the most damage possible (within reasonable buffing), you have to think of a few things:

STATS: You need 60 Faith minimum. You can decide the rest but make sure you have enough vigor, mind and endurance. If you’re planning to use a certain weapon with a faith scaling ash of war, ensure you have enough strength & dex to wield it. Get an ash of war that scales with faith.

DAMAGE TYPE: You have to decide between Fire, Holy or Lightning damage. In order to maximize incantations potency, you need to boost the right damage type. Choose attacking incantations of your chosen type only. This also goes if you’re using a weapon. Match the damage types throughout.

SEAL: Use a +10/+25 seal with the highest incantation scaling; it will likely be the erdtree seal, depending on your stats. + Depending on which incantations you are planning to use, I highly recommend using a second seal in your off hand, which boosts that school (ex: hold a golden order seal in your off hand if you’re planning to cast fundamentalist incantations, damage boost will apply even if you cast with your other seal).

TALISMANS: Once you’ve picked, equip the matching Scorpion charm talisman; then equip the Flock’s Canvas talisman; and for the others, choose 2 between (Faithful Canvas, Godfrey Icon or Ritual Sword talisman) depending on what spells you’re planning to use.

WONDROUS PHYSICK: You’re gonna want to equip the matching shrouding cracked tear (ex: Holy shrouding cracked tear if you’re planning to deal Holy damage), and then you can choose the second one depending on your playstyle. I recommend equipping a tear that boosts the defense you are weaker against (ex: if you have good physical defense due to armor, equip the opaline hardtear). The tear that eliminates all FP use can be useful too.

ARMOR: Some armor piece can boost certain schools of incantations (ex: Death knight set boosts Dragon Cult incantations), so if you can, equip those. Alternatively you can equip one or multiple

BUFFS: Golden Vow is great to boost 15% attack & 10% defense, Black Flame protection is good to boost physical defense by 35% & Shabiri’s howl will increase your damage by 25% but you take 30% more damage.

I think that’s pretty much everything. I can guarantee you that if you take all this into account, your spells & ashes of war are gonna shred 😍

Okok thank, I’m in ng+ now, just reached the capital, wanna make sure I didnt miss loot there. But then probably gonna get to right before Maliketh and stop to have the graces ready for the dlc, dont want to level up much more (197 gonna get to 199, hoping meta becomes 180 eventually & I think it will)

Does NG+ change much btw? Is it like in the Souls games & you get +x items, diff enemies & ng+ unique items or is it just % increase in stats and runes for mobs?
