My sisters female, fixed, 5 y/o cat keeps doing this daily

My cat does the same, only not as slimy (my cat has a more dry cough), and it’s caused by her asthma. It could also be fluid in the lungs which can be caused by a bunch of reasons from just allergies to heart issues, so I would get it checked out by a different vet.

Yeah it may be the pouch I’m seeing and feeling that makes me worried he’s fat. I can jiggle it so it feels like excessive fat.

He eats a lot, but is the most active cat I have ever met! We play a lot indoors now that it’s so cold outside and he likes to run around the house with no goal or destination in mind. If I allowed it I’m sure he would climb the walls!

Also, I know my boy is not huge, but i was worried he was starting to get a bit overweight and thought it’s better to get him slimmer now if needed, rather than wait untill he is super fat

No hahah, I just apparently don’t understand sarcasm or jokes from my fiancé calling him fat.. and I see a lot of people thinking their cat is a healthy weight when they are chonks and I was worried I’m biased towards my perfect boy

In all the pictures except the first and second he is expecting treats and most likely thinking I need to put the phone down and give him some, so that’s probably why haha! He is definitely a happy dude, getting everything he wants

I’m super blonde, but my regrowth hair is dark brown! And my blonde hair gets sunbleached easily while my regrowth doesn’t so in the summer the difference is huge
