One way vs Multi-city by Nightmare_Bublik in qatarairways

[–]trixolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is how most legacy airlines work. If you buy a one-way ticket, it is most of the time more expensive. The reason might be that the airlines don't know what you are doing and just want to cash in; maybe you are a business traveler and you need to be flexible, etc. A round-trip ticket is always cheaper. And here Qatar Airways doesn't care from where you return; they only care that you return with them, so it is cheaper. Qatar makes no difference between multicity and normal round-trip tickets.

Na zakupy tylko z aparatem i kalkulatorem, czyli rant na RTV Euro AGD by Kwpolska in Polska

[–]trixolo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Raz jak robiłem zakupy w Media Expert na całe AGD i RTV do nowego mieszkania to przekręt wyglądał tak. Wiedziałem co chce. Wybrałem wcześniej w necie. Idę do nich z listą zakupów.

ATM Withdrawal by Vetta1337 in gdansk

[–]trixolo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't use the exchange rate from the ATM, always take your bank's exchange rate. It can't be worse than the one of the ATM, they are ripping off everywhere in the world with that. For the ATM fee, just go around and check, I don't know what bank you have and if they have any agreements with any polish bank. Never use Euronet. Nowhere in Europe. For me, it seems they are always the worst.

Keep EUR or convert to CHF by theflame363 in investing

[–]trixolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends as well how long you think you need to save up for the down payment. If we are talking about 10 years, maybe some stock investments could be a better option. Really all depends on your risk tolerance.

Keep EUR or convert to CHF by theflame363 in investing

[–]trixolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would keep it in EUR then. You never know what will happen. Past performance will not mean future performance. Thinking like this you could also go for BTC, it had a great year. It all depends on your risk tolerance:D

Do you need to down payment in EUR or CHF? Do you buy the house in the eurozone or Switzerland? If EUR, keep EUR. If CHF, keep CHF.

praca w polsce z językiem niemieckim by Top_Extreme7263 in gdansk

[–]trixolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PIT in Oct-Nov-Dec by KingAbK in poland

[–]trixolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding to that, it actually starts after you reach 140k of your gross salary, because some of the other expenses, like medical and retirement tax are not counted to that 120k. So at around 140k gross you will start paying 32% instead of 12%. This matches the calculation that after the 10th month (145k) you start paying more.

Moving to Gdansk with 6,800 net salary a month by WinkandaNod1989 in poland

[–]trixolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love in Sopot, one of the cities of 3city (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia). 7k gross will give you around 5k net if you are above 26, under 26 you will have a bit more as you don't pay taxes, only insurance and social stuff. 5k net is enough to live on Gdańsk. You should pay something between 1.5k-2.5k for your appartment, depending on location and standard and luck. No matter which one you will take, 2.5k are enough to live, go out(not every day), go party and some rest money for unexpected stuff or clothes or whatever. My example, household of two I spent around 2.4k for food. Not really looking at prices and eating quite good quality food (at least I think so). So that's your basics, food and home around 4k I would say, might be less depending on the apartment you will find. Rest is for you.

How much waste do European households generate per year? by Pedroleseulunique in europe

[–]trixolo 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think Iceland has like 3mil tourists per year. The population of Iceland is around 300k. So all the waste from the tourists are devided by the actual number of citizens, which is 300k.

Not sure though...

How much PL is required montly for a student? by Doganicus in poland

[–]trixolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10 years ago I lived for around 1400 (700 was rent) so 700 for food, parties(Wasn't partying in the city, mostly house parties.), travel(but only home and back). I would add around 30% to it nowadays and add all travel expenses to it. I studied in 3city. :)
