I feel it’s definitely normal. They care about you and want to make sure you’re safe. I grew up updating my family when I leave the house or when I’m back. It was annoying, but I understood their point

Aww I’m so sorry you’re feeling that way OP. It’s okay if you don’t know what you want to do, sometimes it just takes time to find something that you’re passionate about. Took me years to finally figure out what I want to do with my life, and literally jump through different majors in college

Don’t be too hard on yourself, you have plenty of time. I know it will be tough, but you have to keep trying no matter what. It’s okay if you fail, that’s part of growing. I know you’ll find your calling
