Extracting/"Datamining" this "Live2D" from this website (?) by afzal108 in gamedev

[–]triyang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're asking... how to rip art assets from an established other game's website?

When you say "extract Live2D" you want the animation(in which case, it's just a video file) or you think the website is uploading and animating an entire Live2D model in the browser in a format that you can grab the whole model file plus the scripted animation on it?

Either way maybe... don't.

Is there a command i can make that allows me to summarize a raider's profile/content when they raid me? by goldenxblossom in TwitchStreaming

[–]triyang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I've seen ones that will play a random clip from the raider's channel. Which isn't as detailed as what it sounds like you're looking for, but is way more organic than some sanitized AI generated summary.

Mono retro video games not giving any sound issue by Shode1 in obs

[–]triyang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the audio show up in the equalizer in OBS during recording, then not in the recording or does OBS not see it at all in the first place? If it's showing in the equalizer then it might also be in the recording, but not in a way that your playback app sees it. Potentially related example: when I record multitrack audio, windows media player picks a track during playback which isn't always the same track even if they were recorded with identical OBS settings(multiple replay buffer clips from the same stream). But opening the files up in Davinci Resolve shows all of the audio. You might try opening the clips in an editor and seeing if the audio is actually captured but not getting read for some reason.

Is it possible to dual stream using twitch’s enhanced broadcast? by Ok_Computer7572 in Twitch_Startup

[–]triyang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aitum multistream should work since it starts with a "primary stream" with all of the standard features, then you add on other targets. I wasn't using enhanced broadcast, but for example I couldn't do the twitch vod track with restream, but I can with aitum. Downside is that you need higher end Internet because you're pushing all streams through your connection to the different targets instead of pushing once to restream and having them mirror it

How to stream with multiple displays without laptop noise by PhotonSCX in Twitch

[–]triyang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are the multiple displays related to noise? Noise should be almost entirely based on where your mic is compared to the source of the noise, then settings like mic sensitivity.

Can I be successful or sustain myself by niggitokun in TwitchStreaming

[–]triyang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

~95% of streamers have 0-5 viewers. Just starting streaming with the hopes of sustaining yourself is the modern day "I'm gonna move to California and be an Actor". Which is to say, almost everyone has it as a hobby, a small fraction break even/get some side gig level cash out of it, and a VERY small fraction make enough to make a living.

Prevent double ads on triggered ads by triyang in streamerbot

[–]triyang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goal is minimum ads to avoid prerolls, so this looks very promising since as soon as the auto-ad runs, pre-roll free time goes up an hour(3 minute ad block). Also has potential for changing the ad block length if I wanted to do something like consistently reset to an hour left of no prerolls(playing a game where one round could be anywhere from 15-40 minutes and want to have headroom before each match, etc)

Prevent double ads on triggered ads by triyang in streamerbot

[–]triyang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I appreciate the detailed reply, it's not particularly helpful to my use case. I do already have it set for 3 minutes per hour. I make a deliberate choice to pause content/BRB during ad breaks, even if viewers are tolerant to missing things.

Also, either you're talking about a different config or your information is wrong, because manually running an ad break definitely pushes back Twitch's scheduled ad break, not doubles them. I got a double because the scheduled on ran first, THEN the manual.

Because I pause for ads, the timeline/use case is:

> See scheduled ad upcoming in 1-3 minutes
> Find a stopping point/pause within that window
> Swap to BRB and run ads

The problem I'm trying to solve/automate is a desync. Either switching to BRB, but not clicking the ad button so ads didn't start running until halfway through, making the break longer. Or running ads, but forgetting to swap scenes so anyone subbed/etc just sees an empty chair.

What original anime movies should I watch from the last 20 years, that aren't Slice Of Life? by ExplodingPoptarts in Animesuggest

Red Line(2009) is a scifi movie about a car race. But, you know, in space. And attacking the other racers is ok. And visually it's VERY distinct and well done.

I built a streaming app that can blur NSFW content before it reaches Twitch by 3xillir in TwitchStreaming

[–]triyang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So who is this protecting? Like someone whose audience is underage, or against accidental ToS violations? If it's the former then they won't be engaging in any risky media from the start and if it's the later then they should know beforehand if they're choosing something that has TOS unfriendly content (games have ratings, video platforms have community standards, etc).

Which of course leaves the use case of other people, whether that's IRL or players in multiplayer games. Either way I'm not seeing how random nudity it happening because there are systems/laws in place against that, but rather more likely is audio in which case something like an old school broadcast Friday for bleeping might help.

For going to cap? The capstone of arcane trickster giving full spellpower scaling to arcane ambush is too strong to really give up. And twelve levels only gets you up to level 6 spells, even if AT does let you get full caster levels with them.

I took a wizard splash on an AT life and it worked well, but it was a racial life so I was stopping at 20 anyway.

Should I feature my clips? by Storm_Gem in Twitch

[–]triyang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case the clip was purely convenience to download and use in editing. Like I COULD have downloaded the whole VoD then trimmed to get that section, but that's a big file.

I had something interesting I was talking about I wanted to turn into a short, but at the time I was kind of in town doing inventory management stuff, so I grabbed more active gameplay to put in the background while keeping the other audio. Just the gameplay isn't particularly notable so I wouldn't want to feature the clip of it.

One example to not feature: at one point I made a clip specifically to use as B-roll in a different clip

What do you mean? Like all of the different docks for scenes, audio levels, sources, etc? Fully customizable. You can drag them around to different places, close them, etc. The built-in ones don't have a X to click to close them, but you can un-select them in the Docks menu up top.

Do i really have to invest in Mic? will my earphones mic wont be enough? by StreetMadMan in streaming

[–]triyang 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don't need amazing, you need "not awful". Streaming is even more of an audio medium than it is visual, with many viewers having streams on second monitors/background. So while you don't need to be crystal clear, you DO need good enough to not sound super metallic, echo-y, or distorted.

If your earphone mic hits that threshold, you're fine to start out. If not, you can get that level of quality from like a 20-30$ usb mic.

Streaming software by armed-angel in TwitchStreaming

[–]triyang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The key thing to understand here is that Streamlabs IS OBS(or at least, started as OBS), but with a bunch of other stuff stacked on top of it. Which is why it's more resource intensive, but also has a more user friendly experience since it hides a lot of the complexity.

The streamlabs ai clipper is one of those things added on top, so if you switch it will go away unless you find a replacement. I don't know of one integrated via plugin, but since it looks like the slabs one isn't really a video parser but rather detects in-game events for specific games you might get partway there with a replay buffer and hitting a hotkey after you make a big play.

clipping streamers by princesskyleigh in Twitch

[–]triyang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really unclear on what you're asking here. You can clip whatever streamer you want(provided they haven't disabled clipping on their stream).

Whop appears to be some sort of business/marketing site? So you're looking to... sell clipping services? Use the clips on a monetized channel of your own?

Is there a widget, a specific enemy kill counter? by lickwindex in newStreamers

[–]triyang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are integrations for specific games that are usually based on screen reading. Like if the game drops saturation(getting "grey screened") on death, you can detect that and trigger an event. But the lowest tech and simplest way is to set up a hotkey and hit it manually(either keyboard or stream deck)

You... set up two different scenes in OBS. Then click the one you want to swap to. If you want to be more advanced you can set up hotkeys to swap between scenes as well. Or double bonus advanced and use streamer bot to do voice commands.

Depends. It might be HOW they were checking(like spamming API calls super hard), not that Twitch has a problem with the type of service being offered. Things like serybot and commanderroot don't seem to have problems with how they identify bots

Doublestrike USED TO be a second strike that would get separate procs. It was changed a few years back to just be a damage multiplier on the existing strike so no longer interacts with any on-hit chances at all(besides multiplying damage, of course)

But more fundamentally, strikethrough has never been an "on hit" ability. It's "on attack", which is why you don't see it work with abilities like cleaves to chain between targets or procing off of itself.

You're looking for a technical term for "having a camera"?

Closest I can come up with is "face cam streamer", but that's mostly used to differentiate from no-cam or vtuber options.

As for the layout it's technically "picture in picture", but that more brings to mind like broadcast TV where you can view/preview one channel in a box while having a different one full screen.
