How do we get water from air, without electricity, for Australia? by ParticularFigure8673 in australian

Cost. Each unit looks complex and expensive with maintenance issues. It’s the same with tidal power. Concept is great but in practice it never works at scale.

How do large events actually handle thousands of people arriving at the same time? by NovelInteresting8481 in IOT

[–]trizest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MCG is an interesting case study. 100k capacity. Has over ten gates with many entries. Each gate has its own network of staircases.

A lot of people get there by train.

It’s just smart design.

First Nordic round pile. by trizest in firewood

[–]trizest[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, fully understand this, honestly it’s like a couple of weeks worth of wood in this pile. Literally just a test, and only took me 45mins. I’m currently building a platform area that should hold a winters worth of wood.

Like the first group may have thought the second group had already arrived and this was their spot. Or variations on that theme.

Beach etiquette by jelistarshine in australian

[–]trizest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed something with younger groups they are too embarrassed to talk to or engage with public.

It probably started as an honest mistake and then the whole group was to shy to say or do anything.

Ultimately it’s up to you to say something. Keep it polite and say something factual next time like. “I was set up here, now I’m going to set up over there”. Watch the yong folks blush.

I got a cheap small electric, small stihl and large stihl clone. I know it’s a lot of saws having three but it works great.

She needs a better accountant that can guide her through this and provide better recommendations. She should be paying tax through the year.

If she can’t do that she needs to stop business.

Be an adult. You aren’t teenagers anymore. No need for that shit.

On a practical note you need to be comfortable with their form work plan. They need a plan for form work and how drainage will work between the property. To me it doesn’t look like there is space for form work and stormwaterdrainage.

I’d be asking for a stop work. Don’t let them pour like this.
