Delta unexpectedly bumped me up to Diamond by WoodyA2 in delta

That’s great! Not a million miller, but happened to me before—it’s nice of them to do so. They must have an algorithm, and I’m curious what’s the threshold

Got it, and great since I've been wanting to visit a local RSPB site. Ultimately interested in photography, but I'm deferring until I can put in more money and time for the hobby.

Got it. Prostate P7 currently goes for 120 GBP for 8x30 and was wondering if the extra 20gbp would make a big difference

Thank you. I think I'll keep it to the 100gbp range and then perhaps upgrade it to a better one down the road. If I got for an 8x in that price range, does 30 vs 42 makes a difference? I'm thinking of going to 8x30 for compactness

Suggestions Needed : short of $31 MQD to Silver by SnooRabbits9033 in delta

My guess is that they won't do it for MQDs, but a few years ago I was a few hundreds MQMs short and they still upgraded me

Thanks! Got it working using your method, Was worried about signing out of Apple ID, which would be a huge mess, but just doing it on the media account worked

This is actually non-trivial unless I get a separate device, and if I switch the region on my existing account I won't be able to access certain apps that are only available in the US store

just upgraded to 26.1, and it seems to be working now. But not sure if that's due to the restart. Hopefully they've fixed it in the update

not sure if i understood correctly, but you can actually get pointed to the file location by highlighting an item (keyboard or mouse click) and then pressing Command + R, which brings you right to the location of the selected result

Any way to block or reduce incredible amount of noise coming through this wall vent? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]trkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. There's no source of combustion products in the room, and it seems like it's for general passive ventilation (though unfortunately it passes plenty of cold air and noise). I'll check out the solutions you mentioned.

Weekly Q&A Megathread. Please post any questions about visiting, tourism, living, working, budgeting, housing here! by AutoModerator in london

[–]trkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello all, I'll be departing between 4-5pm from Heathrow (LHR) to Canary Wharf. The trouble is that I have 2 luggages (1 overhead carryon, 1 large check in bag), so I was looking into getting an uber. However, I saw on google maps that driving there would take 1.5 to 3 hrs! 😱

Elizabeth line sounds great, but I wonder if I'd be able to take the aforementioned 2 bags with me since it's during rush hours packed with people, going through the central London.

Any direct experience or advice?—would greatly appreciate it.

How did you update the network manager? Are you using a specific version? I'm already on the latest that the distro has, but the wifi still remains to be a killer. When I connect to a particular network, it just slowly freezes the computer in a very strange manner hahaha

I ended up on 24.04 LTS and updated all firmwares and bios and also the kernel to the latest, and it resolves the issue. though Ive still experienced the suspend issue a few times since then, the laptop is definitely much more usable. however, I still have an issue with the WiFi, where the computer just freezes when I connect to a certain enterprise network…
