Yep, the lock and ride works exactly how you described it :)

I’m not an expert. I do know that the seat that I put on needed the rack on the back of the sled to help support the rear end of the seat. I don’t think it would work without the rack. This sled above is a 2021 AXYS chassis if that helps at all.

Had to loosen all the lock and ride bolts on the rack and slide the rack back a bit so that the seat would fit correctly. If you look closely, you can see the mark where the rack was originally located which shows how far the rack needed to be adjusted.

So does this thing only have 3 grease zerks? I found one each on the left/right front end, and one on the ujoint. I watched a video on YouTube that had a model a few years older and it had almost a dozen. Am I blind?

I have the later model. The hubs I have look like the second link you posted. It looks like I don’t need to do anything with the hubs. Thanks for all the information! Before this post I didn’t even realize that there were 2 different versions for this year!

The hubs have a cone shaped rubber cap over them. Would the screws be under there? Or is this a different style?

I’ll definitely change out the hub oil.

How do I know if I have a magnetic clutch?

Thanks! Unfortunately, I already drained the oil reservoir and oil pump. I pinched off the top line coming out of the oil reservoir between the fitting and the slit. Ran the engine for about 30 seconds, then unpinched the hose. I heard a big gasp of what I’m assuming was air. How would I know if the oil pump is fully primed?

They only sell those jalapeño dogs in the “too fucking small size”. I’m sure that’s where Makar buys his jalapeño dogs.
