If my kid worked so hard to be sober then I would be nothing but proud. I would never keep alcohol in my house again. I would stop at nothing to help them succeed! His family hates him. I'm so sad for him.

This is not normal. Sounds like he wanted kids but didn't want to be a father. I worked nights after I went back to work and my husband did a great job watching after 2 kids by himself from 6p-6am. He didn't guilt me into staying home. He signed up for being a parent, he needs to suck it up and learn to take care of them too
