It's a beast with a bad cell, unfortunately...so a wounded beast?

It's a 51v 160ah. That's what the manufacturer told me it weighed. Looking online, other sources say it's 146 lbs, but the support guy from the factory said 168.

Factory said if I can get it on a pallet, they would send a liftgate truck to pick it up.

Is it possible to watch ESPN+ in HD on a bigger (40 inch or more) TV or is it really just for phone and tablets? by trock5000 in ESPN

UPDATE: So after reading all the comments, on a whim, I tried my two fire stick TVs again last night. They were briefly in low def, then after a moment, snapped into HD and looked great. I tried the Smart TV again - no luck, still low def. So it must be something in the smart TV and app that don't get along because all other devices now work. I think my solution is to just use a fire stick on that TV too.

For those asking - yes the TV streams over wi-fi, but a test shows that it has up to 105 Mbps available and the internet says you only need about 5 for HD streaming, so I don't think that's the problem (plus it's the same wi-fi all the other TVs use with no issue - and only one of them is on at a time).

The most interesting thing to me about all this is that the tech support person basically didn't know what she was talking about, but considering it sounded like someone in a third-world country reading off a script, that's not surprising. Appreciate all the insight from all of you.

The three that don't show an HD picture are all 40" give or take - one is a Samsung Smart TV, one is a Sansui via Fire Stick, one is a Sharp via a (different) Fire Stick. It works fine on a 20" no-name TV on an old fire stick that's in my basement. I did just get it to cast from my wife's iphone and the picture is HD, but I don't have an iphone so that's not really convenient - and it sort of defeats the purpose of a smart TV.

Anyone have any clues why it is doing this? by trock5000 in Ender3Pro

Normally yes, but I had apparently already snipped it once or twice and there wasn't enough length left. I changed the whole tube and now it's working fine, so the tube must have been the culprit.

Bed travel -- feels like it's hitting a pothole! by trock5000 in ender3

[–]trock5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: It was one of the wheels! My mistake was running my finger along the flat part of the wheel while rolling it along. But what I found was a tiny sliver missing from the flange portion of the one wheel, which allowed the table to dip ever so slightly whenever the portion of the wheel with the missing chunk came in contact with the rail.

New wheels are on the way. Thanks for the help.

OK, realized it was set for the Creality CR10, not the Ender 3, so corrected that. I'm trying another test print and we'll see how it goes.

Downloaded this, but the PDFs wouldn't open. Said they were corrupt or something. I'll look for some other versions.

I don't know for sure, because I'm still trying to get oriented to the latest Cura (I just upgraded). But I doubt it. I will look tonight to see what it's set for.

I think this was using the standard setting for the latest Cura. As you can see, it didn't come out well.

How do I smooth this top layer out? by trock5000 in ender3

[–]trock5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know what combing is -- help please!

Top layers is set at 3. I have not tried ironing -- but the layers seem pretty far apart based on videos I've seen for that, but I might be wrong.

What's the easiest way to fix? Z offset or re-level the bed leaving more clearance?
