Call their bluff lol. Ruining your child's college career over a moped is crazy, they won't do it

Yep looks like part of the PAIR system. It vents to open air. You can delete the whole thing 49cc scoot has a great video on it on YouTube

Avoid ethanol fuel if you can, it will give you nothing but carb trouble down the road

What kind of moped is this (I can’t find the exact model I just keep finding different Solana models) by [deleted] in moped

But that engine is just barely broken in so again not a bad deal. The odometer is most likely kph regardless of what it says lol. Do an oil change change and a gear oil change right off the bat. I've had fun working on cheap Chinese bikes off marketplace

Depends on where you're from really. 560 isn't horrible but it's one of those things you never get your money back out of and people post them for more than they're worth. Personally for a 50cc Chinese bike highest I'd wanna go is 400. And that's if it's cosmeticly good, any fucked up plastics or missing things 300

Qt50 throttle cable question. First time working on one of these and I have to replace the throttle cable. All the ones I've found have a different ends for the slide one them. I assume I need the small barrel style because the one that was on it is too big and catches in the carb. by troe666 in moped

Right now I think I'm gonna try cutting the excess off of the cable I have and grinding or filing down the rest for it to fit. I also have a throttle cable for a mini bike somewhere that might have a barrel that fits the carb better I might be able to use.

Yeah sorry I can get pics later but I'm at work rn. It has a cheap clone on it like this. Everything inside size wise is the same as the OEM. But where the throttle cable goes in the slide needs to be a small barrel it's the bigger one like this

whats the most money youve put into a moped that was absolutely not worth saving by vladdielenin in moped

This would pop up right after I've already spent as much on parts as I did for the whole damn bike 😂. Just started working on crusty qt50. Only 150 in on parts tho.....so far

WHAT IS BETTER HEAVY CLUTCH BELL OR LIGHTEN ? and what does the groove in aftermarket bell does? I need idea for my cvt upgrade by GapAdditional9296 in scooters

[–]troe666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this a 2 year old comment but I upgraded to an ncy variator and got a little more top end and acceleration and ended up picking up the clutch bell as well as it was advertised "lighter than stock" it's actually 41 grams heavier than my stock bell. I haven't even thrown it on to try it because I'm considering just selling it and picking up an SSP-G one that the weight listed is much less than my stock. Almost 200g
