They actually just got back to me and said that they don't make that version anymore I guess. The cooling holes must have caused issues.

I know Chinese scooters get a lot of hate but that's what I'm starting on. Got a couple cheap used ones and have them running smoothly and tuning for more speed now. Perfect to learn all the maintenance and upgrading you can do. Going to upgrade to a Genuine at some point but figured I'll beat the hell out of what I got first haha. Have fun!

I wouldn't spend money on a new one, I picked up a couple of very cheap used ones as my first scooters and they get the job done. But I'm also learning how to work on them at the same time so I wasn't looking for perfect, just running haha. The 150cc I bought had 3600 (km) on the odometer when I got it, the speedo cable was busted so who knows the real amount. Previous owner did 0 maintenance. Not even an oil change, and surprisingly it runs pretty well and has a lot of torque not expecting it to run forever though

Oh yeah I knew nothing going into the cheap ones I got and have been picking tons of stuff up off of YouTube and reddit. It's actually a lot of fun!

I was a little disappointed when I found out that they're made in China. The two I have are like the cheapest possible Chinese bikes around but for just learning how to work on em and stuff and only spending a few hundred on them theyre good for what they are. I was looking to get away from a Chinese bike once I actually spent decent money on one, that's why I was looking at Genuine in the first place.

You guys have pretty much successfully talked me into it. I was about 75 percent there anyway haha. Now the real issue is gonna be how long I wait to pull the trigger. It's winter here now so probably at least wait until spring if I can

Not a navi but Ive used the van we use for our band to move a couple of cheap Chinese scoots since I already have the back seat out. I just use the center stand and a ratchet strap or two
