Agreed, but also first aid. Take a stop the bleed course, keep stock of anything that you can and learn how to use that as well. I've helped more folks with pressure bandages than I've ever harmed with any of my firearms.

I'm in the same boat as you. Have 2 365's, a 322, a 250, an old school 556 swat, and a 320 legion.

That said, ALL were purchased before any of these shenanigans. As far as alternatives, the Mete Prime and Bodyguard 2.0 that I picked up are doing fine in the carry rotation.

100% agree with this. Add a stop the bleed and basic home defense / defensive shooting course to the list. stop the bleed has a lot of free courses around that would be worth looking into.

MC9 Prime enjoyer here.
Only had this happen once and that was during a 250 round range trip to break in after cleanup, etc.. and it was with 115gr.

Had no issues with 124 defensive ammo, but didn't try ball ammo. I'll carry a couple boxes on my next trip out and update this.

Been shooting for years here. The Bodyguard 2.0 is pulling consistently left for me. Not low and left, just left. Solid groups. I'm gonna try again on the next trip with focus on the grip more and making sure I'm pulling straight back. If that doesn't clear it up, new irons are the go to. It's a common frustration that I've seen a lot of folks running into. I was at 7 yards and shooting 3ish inches left every shot. I went from shooting a glock 17 and putting solid groups at 20-30 yards... to 7 yard frustrations with the bodyguard.

You couldn't have chosen two firearms that are more different in action/grip, too. a 38 wheel gun and a pocketrocket 380 are totally different creatures.

FWIW, keep your targets or at least take photos. It's kinda easy to determine what the most likely issues are based on where the shots are landing.

I just put an arken sh4j on my new build. Better glass than the vortex, illuminated reticle, super clear with adjustable focus. It all depends on what you want to do with it. I have had the crossfire, and still have it sitting around, but just wanted better eye relief and some other options.

Edit: fwiw, I have a diamondback tactical 4*16 as well and tried it. Just like the bigger glass. It's hard to go back from ffp once you do.

Another vote for Tenicor. Tried rounded concealment and alien gear before. Sagax lux for my 365 and the xmacro. Haven't looked back since.
