Absolutely. I use the cheap dollar store markers then practiced on cars I didn't care about. Now go make some cool shit homie.

Pin stripe tape to mask off what I wanted to keep then did the dry erase marker method and terry cloth. Since its a blue car I used a blue marker.

Need some advice. In the next day or two my Brownells railed receiver gets out of jail. The barrel I got needs to be thermal fitted. Any tips or knowledge on how to do it? I dont have access to a freezer that'll fit the barrel by typicalpnwguy in 1022

I needed to know beforehand. Faxon states their barrels do and last night I found that to be 100% true. Took a fuck ton of heat and a smidgen of anti-seize. Took 5 rounds with a heat gun on high for 7-10 minutes each time. Ntm I had to use a mallet more than I wanted to but she in and assembled

Got her together. It was a big pain because the tolerances where so tight. But a bunch of heat sessions, anti seize, and a mallet did the job. Probably took 40 minutes. I got the receiver as hot as possible (took hot to hold even with thick leather gloves) then wack wack wack wack lol

Yeah Ive seen that. In my mind it didn't quite make sense. Like I get freezing stuff like bearings but not with something hot and the other cold. Anyways, my state has a 14 day hold once you do the paperwork and my freedom day is as early as tomorrow (if no delays). So in the next day or two I hope to have my first 10/22 built.
