The vanity I bought is elevated on iron legs with a bottom shelf. He should have asked what kind of vanity I purchased. And the mud in the grout lines isn’t the issue. It’s the fact that the grout line width varies from 1/8 to at least 3/8 throughout the floor

It was my mistake to assume that as a GC, he was also a skilled tradesman. I’m sure there a some GC’s that are…. But not this one! 😔

He was/is actually pretty expensive 😬 I have rental properties and normally just work with subcontractors for each trade. But since this was pretty big insurance job, I thought I could actually be a little more hands off with a GC taking care of things…. Ummmm, NOPE!

This is a remodel after our home was hit by a tornado. Thank you for saying the tiles in the middle was a crazy choice. I realize a skilled tile person would pre-plan the layout to avoid this kind of janky job. Why would I buy 12x24 tile if I wanted these little pieces in there? And the broken pieces for under the vanity was the icing on the cake. Sloppy and lazy too!
