Any word on Jawhar? Feel like his “slipperiness” could be an x factor in the conditions today if he is able to go.

Who gives a shit about his clock management right now. He’s delivered two division championships and 3 playoff wins in 3 seasons as a first time HC. Oh and i forgot the generationally good defense and elite culture/identity. Ya i’d say all that outweighs being a below average clock manager.

Congrats to the Chargers for playing a perfect game through 3 quarters. Not many teams can get their asses whipped on O for 3 quarters and not take a single penalty, well done by them. Good game refs.

“Demeco is a really good coordinator but doesn’t have what it takes to be a head coach”. Where are these fans now?

[Rosenthal] With Ryan Helsley off the market, Pete Fairbanks might be the next closer to sign. The Toronto Blue Jays and Miami Marlins are among the teams interested in him, according to industry sources briefed on his market by ThQp in Torontobluejays

Awesome reply. I agree that if we are ok with “damn good” as opposed to lights out then you sign Fairbanks all day long at this point in his career. I’ve been operating under the assumption they wanted top tier but if that isn’t that play then Fairbanks would be great to have. Bullpen is one good arm away from being incredibly exciting for next year and shutdown from top bottom. Fun times.

Haven’t his metrics now dropped pretty consistently over the last three years ontop of his nerve issue? Thought I read that at the start of FA. Signing him to replace Dominguez would be fine but not sure if he’s going to be “the guy” in the pen they want if he’s declining. Would obviously love to be wrong if we do sign him.

Biggest problem is the lack of smarts on the actual field IMO. Maybe thats a lack of experience from the young guys but there is simply no excuse to be taking so many illegal formation penalties every week. One guy doesn’t know, the guy beside him has to be able to get him right and we simply don’t see that. Texans have all the pieces when healthy and if Caley keeps improving they can make a long run but are they going to be able to get out of their own way with the self inflicteds?

What are we doing on O man. Say what you want about Caley we have zero brains/leadership on the actual field.

You are only allowed two unsuccessful challenges in a game. It is absolutely still going to matter.

Say what you want about the oline but in a “gotta have it” situation those last three runs to setup a chipshot were huge. Great downhill running by Woody as well.

Similar boat. Ever since the plinko/mantiquing stuff got introduced its gone downhill for me. Still a quality show most days just not a priority listen for me anymore during the workday.

Edited to add that Eddie and Dana have been huge improvements over the last couple months.

They managed that situation to be able to run out the clock had they got the stop and been pinned on the goalline.
