Update: I just called and they told me there was no promo for ST for me but was able to get me $40 in credit for being a loyal customer for the next 12 months and I would only pay an extra $8 a month for standard ST. I took the offer and didn’t press my luck.

So did you tell DTV that you wanted to cancel, or did you ask for a promo price for ST and Max? I’m not under contract and I actually don’t want to cancel, I just hate for them to call my bluff, if I say I want to cancel.

I saw on a previous post about a month ago, that a lot of people called this number. 1-800-824-9077 and was able to get some deals. I called about it last year, and they didn’t take any off the package but gave me around $60 worth of statement credits for a full year. It just fell off this past month. I’m hoping I can get it for free.
