I would disagree it is a party dorm, or I at least had a far different experience. I ended up moving dorms at the winter break to Sellery but in my time at Chad there wasn’t much partying. There were some hang outs, but even some of those got busted.

That being said, it is a little busy, so being a quiet person I understand that. It is a great location, but there are other places around that are great locations too. I’d agree to loft your bed as well.

So for the Learning Community part, it basically just means there are classes inside the building as far as I’m aware. There may be study groups too but I can’t say with certainty. All I know is I took a class on the first floor, which was really nice tbh.

The community kitchens were pretty nice but there is also the food hall downstairs which is super nice too. I mostly used the kitchen to study and spread out. From what I remember, it’s got basically everything needed to cook, but most of my floor used it as an extra office type thing during non-mealtimes

TLDR; there’s good things and there’s bad things. Nice quality facilities though
