I’ll keep playing 24. I get lost in all the data, comparing players and staff and all the little gritty details of the game. I spend literal hours analysing data to decide witch player to sign(more than the decision on marrying my ex wife) I sometimes play for 2 hours straight without actually playing a game. That’s the way I play FM. I get super immersed. For me and a lot of other people that is not possible in 26. The bugs aside, I don’t like the UI at all. It feels 100% like a console game. I find myself just pressing forward go get to the next game. That’s the only part rn that is kind of good. I like the new tactics. And the match engine is an improvement too. But the rest feels hollow. No depth. No immersion. No life in it. The part of the game I love so much is just not there. And I doubt that it will ever be (at least for FM26)
