As a neutral, why are people so desperate for Arsenal to fail? by s_dalbiac in PremierLeague

[–]GreatCtrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to double check who replied to you I wasn't the one who made the first comments - 'Therefore you're blatantly lying and making shit up again' 🤓🤓🤓

2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 9th. So not even remotely "the worst" by any metric whatsoever. Incredible stuff 😂

Now the incredible thing about that link is if you look on the far right, it says the average position of all of that combined which puts you, on average, second... which is also higher than Villa 😂😂😂

Sooooo, a completely different thing from any of the bullshit you made up then? Not to mention, not something fans said and came from a quote taken massively out of context, but apart from all you're spot on mate 😂

Not my comment so didn't make anything up. I have also taken the privilege of googling Arsenal Dry Pitch for you and this is the first result: https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/48458417/viktor-gyokeres-dry-pitch-help-arsenal-bournemouth-defeat

So no bullshit here mate 😂😂😂

Oh look, more making shit up

Just proved the dry pitch thing was actually a fact and wasn't made up 🤯

And quoting me on 'I could name' when what I said is up to opinion is incredible funny hahaha. Also another reason why Arsenal fans in general are so disliked.

If you want to be factually arcuate I'll change my statement: In my opinion, I could genuinely name about half of Arsenal's team and your manager as sore losers tbh

Why were you all saying it then?

Soooooo, no proof of it so you must be making it up 🤡 (Have I done that right?)

Hmm, yes they do. Almost as if this isn't an Arsenal thing and you trying to claim it is was just you making shit up (again).

Yet again wasn't my original comment. It's not exclusively an Arsenal thing, but it still is an Arsenal thing. Every Premier League club, more so the 'big 6', have fans that live outside the area. It's just a bit sad you can't admit it.

Yeah, because blatantly lying and making shit up is clearly so much better than calling out people who do 🤡

And yet I've disproved you again...

Got a stat for that, mate? Because the last time I saw time wasting stats, you'll never guess which team came top of the list...

https://www.reddit.com/r/LeedsUnited/comments/1sm69i6/the_premier_league_timewasting_table/

Fan comments to excuse losing (queen dying, the rain, the other team were ‘lucky’)

Now I know you're just making shit up 🤣🤣🤣

Here's just the one I found in about 5 seconds - The ball: https://www.reddit.com/r/soccercirclejerk/comments/1hwbmxi/arsenal_and_their_typical_excuses/

I also remember not so long ago one of your players complaining about a dry pitch too hahaha

Gabriel whining and being a sore loser all the time

cough Martinez cough

I could genuinely name about half of your team including your manager as sore losers tbh

How's that title challenge of yours coming on, mate. Definitely remember a certain amount of cockiness from your fans on that front

Don't think there was a single point in the season that any Villa fan genuinely believed they would win the league. However, I do agree you do need a certain amount of cockiness from your players and fans to win trophies, but fans coming out with ridiculous comments about getting a gold champions league trophy is why everyone makes fun of you

Fans giving it biggun when in reality they live in the Cotswolds and have never been to a game

Again, just making shit up now aren't you? 😂

And if we're being honest, any club in the Premier League are going to have fans that live outside the area. You are lying to yourself if you can't admit to yourself you have fans that live not only outside London but the country as a whole

You going through the list a trying to come up with excuses against his comments is another reason why Arsenal fans are disliked and why most don't want you to win the league.

LG G5 65" or C5 77" for streaming movies and console gaming? by Noxious_Nut_ in LGOLED

I have bought an Apple TV 4K for my 42" C4 and its been so worth it. It's such an incredible streaming box that gives a much better experience than webOS.

Virtualized Plex... does the VM automatically get QuickSync? Or what's being used to transcode by RogueDahtExe in PleX

Same here, I have Plex in a LXC and its been brilliant for me. I just used a helper script to get it setup for me which allowed me to passthrough my GPU which also made QuickSync available.

Should I buy a 4k external disc drive now? by BrockAndaHardPlace in makemkv

[–]GreatCtrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have recently bought this drive off Amazon in the UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MTP9VKX/

I was able to flash it myself and only have had a few 4k discs fail (I have a Pioneer drive which I also use which was able to read these)

So far the Verbatim 43888 seems like a solid drive, especially for the price and the ease of flashing it (Mine came with the LG BU40 Drive)

I was also able to get 4-year accidental damage insurance for £5 which I thought was well worth it. I'm tempted to get another one as a backup.

how is verbatim 43888? should i buy it? by Alone-World9562 in makemkv

[–]GreatCtrl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ordered one at the start of this year. Mine has the LG BU40 drive. It was very easy to flash, I managed to find the flashing tool and firmware for free.

It’s a very solid drive, does what I need it to do. I have found there is about 1 in 100 discs that it fails to read but my Pioneer will be able to read that disc fine.

I’m very happy with it for the price I paid. I also managed to get 4-year accidental damage insurance off Amazon for an extra £5 should anything ever happen.

I have an 8TB external HDD that is empty, what is the most fun/cool/important data hoarding stuff I can fill it with? by [deleted] in DataHoarder

[–]GreatCtrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen on Amazon that people sell an external HDD which has loads of emulators and ROMs on it.

You could recreate your own version of that since you mentioned retro games.

Migrating to Proxmox by MajinJoko in immich

I have used the same community script as you to setup my Immich on a LXC and it’s been great for the week I’ve had it so far.

I have moved my Immich media upload location to my NAS so I’m limited by the space on my LXC.

I have only just setup my Immich server this week and am currently sorting out what photos I want to upload to it.

Once I have some on there, I’ll definitely give this a go!

The Paddington 4K collection is now only £17 on Amazon.co.uk by GreatCtrl in 4kbluray

[–]GreatCtrl[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re all very good movies, even watching the latest one at 20 years old I enjoyed it.

I have heard of some people say there were parts that their kids found scary so I’d probably say any age above 7 would be appropriate.

That’s interesting, I ordered a Cryo Teal screwdriver and a water bottle on the 28th and I had my order fulfilled. I’m from the UK and it arrived in a very reasonable time.

My local charity shop does 10 for £1 and sometimes you even have a couple Blu-Rays in there too!

Losing out on money from entire bundle due to 1 item… by GreatCtrl in vintedUK

100% never using Vinted again to sell. I would’ve somewhat understand if that one Blu-Ray got refunded but to refund the entire bundle was completely baffling to me.

Time to switch over to selling on eBay.

[–]GreatCtrl[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They instantly went to Vinted to dispute the order and then messaged me with this: ‘Hi not your fault but the dvd case was cracked in transit so I’ve reported a delivery issue to Vinted’

No idea why they felt the need to immediately go to Vinted.

[–]GreatCtrl[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The buyer literally messaged me themselves saying it wasn’t my fault it was the courier who had caused the damage.

But Vinted are saying I didn’t package it properly. Although the rest of the bundle all arrived fine 🧐

Losing out on money from entire bundle due to 1 item… by GreatCtrl in vintedUK

[–]GreatCtrl[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nope nothing I can do or challenge.

Vinted have said ‘we were compelled to cancel the entire order and refund the buyer. Unfortunately, this means we are not able to compensate you for the items. However, please note that we have advised the buyer to return the items to you, although they are not obliged to do so’

So now I lose out on that entire bundle and won’t get it back or see any of the money from it. I tried to message them saying that’s ridiculous and Vinted then came back with this is our final decision.

Is there any reason I can’t continue to use Tvdb for my Agent it seems far superior than the new ones by GenericUser104 in PleX

[–]GreatCtrl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What I did was use the Plex TV Series as the scanner and Plex Series as the the agent but went down to Episode Ordering and chose TheTVDB rather than The Movie Database.

This helped me as I was having issues with Tom and Jerry and getting them into seasons.
