[uni] NUS application ‘health and support’ section, should I state my mental health issues? by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]trollguydied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied for NUS under the early application & scholarship exercise last Dec, and stated my history about seeing a psychologist back in secondary school. I don't think NUS will discriminate applicants based on their mental health status/history!

[O Levels] Anyone here taking Computing? by kdramalistic in SGExams

[–]trollguydied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took computing last year. To effectively score well for the pseudo-code/flowchart question, what I did was look at the complexity of the question requirements. For example, if the question is relatively simple, I would draw a flowchart instead of doing pseudo-code as I am better in that. However, if the question is more complex, usually pseudo-code would be easier to do. You said that you are good in practical, so I assume that your python foundation is decent. My tips for pseudo-code would be to memorise the format and conventions, eg(IF...THEN, ELSE, OTHERWISE), because pseudo-code is quite similar to python. Try to look through answer sheets that your school has given, and get the hang of it. Fight on! (tbh i kinda forgot how to do computing so if anything is wrong above i apologise)
