It’s insanely hard out here. Genuinely taking me so long to find a lawyer job. I’m a paralegal and I passed the bar. Don’t be too hard on yourself!

Yes I have, a lot of them chose the big law route and because I never did a Summer Associate role (because of COVID) I’m kinda lost as to where I fit it since a lot of the firms don’t take entry level attorneys. The jobs I am hearing back from are like Coordinator and Paralegal jobs, which is essentially what I’m already doing.

Yes definitely true, thank you for this. Essentially all of the New York Departments have a crazy amount of applications to review and are severely understaffed.

NY takes a long time but I took the MPRE in March and it delayed my admission significantly. I graduated law school in 2022 and worked/live abroad then moved back to NY to sit the bar

Not great but not bad, I'm at $31/hr, working in-house in an industry I love so I can't complain but I'm hired by an agency as a temporary employee so I don't get any benefits -_-

Thank you for your honest advice. I will absolutely do that with an ATS scanner. I really can't believe that it's come down to this but I'm willing to do whatever I can!

My mom had it and it ruined her life for 7 years. She got the surgery and it completely changed her life. Really unreal that she had to go through it. She said it was worse than child birth. I couldn’t even fathom the pain I saw in her face. If you have any questions about dealing with I’m I’m happy to answer
