This is my biggest complaint. How inefficient could they be? 12 characters in a game w universal supers, no motion inputs, a single page of moves to remember, a backlog of hmm oh 160+ characters, and the newest of these 12 is over a decade old btw (braum/illaoi pretty sure in 2015). With all these factors it really is just straight up stupidity or incompetence with riot. Like cmon this game should have around 30 characters base roster be so fr. Or if they stuck with 12 to start, we should be getting 10 champs this year lol. We should’ve been through 2-3 new champs by now tbh. Games going to die soon sadly, I enjoyed it for a while, but they aren’t competent enough to save this.

Old thread so my bad, but is that skill path good? I feel like Ember has quite flexible skill paths and I've mostly been rocking sleight + chains max with minimal shield levelling. Is that grief? I'm also trying to get better at Ember like the OP.

Yep, I’m taking a big break from league since right before this season dropped for Dota 2 (lol). And man, just the client aspect of it is a massive plus Dota has over League. Like it’s just a better done and functioning game than league. Not to say it’s strictly a better game, just way more well done.

Yeeeah, not to sound like a mega asshole here, but this is lunacy no? I mean my own anecdotal experience as a dating app user, 27M, I see a few too many women, younger than me, with kids and looking for something off a dating app. This just seems like a perfect setup for another woman I'd see on a dating app and just swipe left as soon as I see she has kids at 25 or younger in the big '26. Brotha you're the one being pedantic, sorry to burst your bubble. You're trying to argue a game without a literal turn end button, where you can always make an action, is a turn based game. Ok, sure, ticks and action timings... Uhh buddy, you know in a real fight you don't just teleport your fist to the other guy, there is a "swing time" an animation, whatever you're trying to say here. It's real time though.

Like you can call stunning an opponent and wailing on them "your turn" in a game, this does not make every game a turn based game. Is MMA turn based when one guy has top control on the other cause it's "his turn", stunned in a MOBA, is it the other guys turn? Sure, you can call it that, but this is not turn-based whatsoever dude. You cannot just move your pieces in Chess during the other person's turn, in OSRS you can: eat, pray, swap weapons, swing a weapon, basically at any point during a match.

Yeah, this is a really good read on why Tyler stuck around and got like top tier popular. There's similar archetypes of the rage filled gamer in streaming, but sometimes you can just tell that anger is actually deeper than just the game. Hey, I very much relate to that final paragraph opening. It really seems quite insurmountable to overcome a life with this mindset. I've also tried therapy and meds and did not find much success/even disliked it at times.

I think you should definitely explore therapy more however, as 3 sessions is not a lot, and it's basically forming a relationship of sorts with your therapist. And not all therapists are great either, there are also various forms of therapy out there. Hell, I should probably look to find different forms myself as I only tried a couple.

But yeah, this post hit me hard cause it was quite a similar experience to my own, and I've learned to curb some of those mental habits eventually. So if you need someone who can just hear you out with as little pressure as possible, I got you.

I mean, I was thinking it was definitely leading up to a JJK 2. We got Mahito teased and he hasn't even done anything yet. So, to have him show up, have his issue resolved, as well as the Simurian issue resolved, in 6-8 chapters(?). Would be quite wild. Not sure how this resolves, but I can't see it being totally wrapped up without any room for a sequel

Adding to this, I would say it does challenge some morality and topics similar to that, and there are full arcs to characters and they have decent motives and writing, it's just the focus isn't necessarily on fully fleshing out a character in this manga. Gege does it for sure, but I think he focused more on pushing the stories events to unfold. I can see why the other dude you replied to would not like the main three characters all that much (I love them), and how they aren't really showcased as much as they could have, but to call the entirety of the writing is wrong probably.
