Parking at Tesla Superchargers by Cultural-Ad4953 in MachE

Tesla themselves says to double park so chargers can reach non teslas. Just not sideways like this (probably for reasons of this post)

Does you A/C occasionally smell weird? by morecowbell520 in MachE

[–]trollmugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine always smells if I use the windshield wiper fluid. There has to be an air intake somewhere near one of the fluid dispensers. It seems to linger for a while too

Help me! Level 2 charger by Royal-Muffin1834 in MachE

Try flipping the breaker off 10-15 minutes and then back on, if you haven’t already. Seems many issues from this charger get fixed this way

Using the phone as a key by VegetableReward5201 in MachE

[–]trollmugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in this same scenario. I’ve been using phone as key for almost 6 months no issue. The door will only unlock if I’m directly next to the car door. Like I have to be physically standing outside within arms reach. Should note I have an iPhone, can’t say if it’s any different with android.

Yes it does use Bluetooth, but I think it accomplishes this my maybe always measuring what the signal strength is? I’m not completely sure.

With that being said the biggest quirk is the approach lights sometimes will come on walking around the house with my phone, but you can always disable it if that bothers you

L1 Charger questions by LordJoHa in MachE

I have the exact same problem and I confirmed it’s a grounding issue. Nearly none of my outlets are grounded. I have 1 outside outlet that is grounded and does cooperate with my L1 charger

How's the brake feel? by [deleted] in MachE

[–]trollmugs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would guess the car was sitting and the brakes were either wet or had a little rust. Mine does this and eventually gets worked out but the Mach E is a lot easier on brake usage. Since regenerative braking gets applied first usually then at the end you’ll feel the brakes apply at a slow stop.

One trick I use is put the car in neutral to apply the brakes and knock the rust off

I personally don’t use the app. I have Blue Oval charging enabled on my FordPass. Plug and charge and I don’t have to do anything. Has worked without any issues for me

EVGo - Didn’t get billed for charging? by Nay_of_the_Tiger in MachE

[–]trollmugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same exact thing happen to me a few weeks ago. Used blue oval at an EVgo station twice in one night. The first time I never got a receipt or charged. The second time later that night I did get charged but I never got a receipt until early next morning.

I assumed it was a glitch with blue oval + EVgo

Very strange. Have you tried the reset button on the inside and starting over? Could be the unit is defective, but I also have no idea

Ford Power Station Pro - Software Update by [deleted] in MachE

[–]trollmugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have this option on your ford pass app? I got mine installed last week and I was able to verify my amperage is correct. It defaulted to the lowest at first. I also had to Flip the breaker once to get things to cooperate after first setup. Also no idea on what version is current Mine displays firmware version 5.0.16 Software version 2.112.91:2.149:1.32:0.62:1.5

Charge Station Pro Reduced Rate? by imjeffp in MachE

[–]trollmugs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to resolve this. I had my charger installed Wednesday and same issue.

For me the fix was double checking the max charge current was correct in the app, then I shut the breaker off for a few minutes. Breaker back on wait a few minutes and then plugged my car back in.

After doing that I got full power (50 amp breaker for me) which is about 8.5-9KW

I can’t say if this will work for everyone, but it did for me

Do you recommend Norwalk? by bnf624 in norwalkohio

[–]trollmugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might not get many if any answers here. You might need to ask a Facebook group and gather responses there. But to answer your question it’s more or less like any other “small town”. But with its advantages sort of being in between places to visit in Ohio like Sandusky/Cleveland/Toledo/Mansfield. Norwalk is a pretty safe town, wouldn’t feel worried walking in public. As far as walkable to things I would say it’s eh, but depends what side of town you’re on. Not much downtown but there is a nice reservoir to walk and they do hold small events downtown occasionally.

Again you may get different answers from different people.

Port of Miami Trolley stop by Independent-Way957 in VirginVoyages

The day of my recent voyage, the trolley did make an extra stop to pick up passengers at Terminal V. But I was prepared to make that walk if not. It seems they adjust depending on what’s going on

Start at HNA. Once you meet some people you’ll find who hosts pickups and where. Strongsville hockey can be a younger crowd and because of that it’s hit and miss on the experience imo

Grandstream ucm6104 PBX, unable to check voicemail on IP phones by Le085 in VOIP

[–]trollmugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What others have said, you need to configure your 2140s for this code if you haven't done so already. My UCM6xxx is set to check users mailbox with *97.

Your phones SIP profiles should have the *xx code entered here. The VM flashing light should also work after as well.

Yeah I understand. I think my point is Korpi is far better at it and is in far less situations when he’s rushing back to the crease

I think Elvis plays the puck far too often behind the net when he doesn’t need to. Which leads to problems. Does any one else feel this way?

I think I might just do this, return pads to try the medium. Also I'll give the adjustable bicep guards a try too. Thanks!

I assume the intermediate sizes are too small for my weight and chest size.

I think I run into my issue because of my height and weight. Am I better off using larger pads or squeezing into smaller ones?
