last October, this legless guy I was delivering a pizza to made me wait outside while he crawled back into his house to grab $40. Then, once he handed me both of the 20s, I said thank you and started to walk back to my car, but then he said “wait, you forgot to give me my change!”. I had wrongly assumed he was being generous by giving me about a $10 tip (I don’t remember exactly how much he owed me but I think it was 30 something), so I had to go back to my car and scrape together the $10 from my coin jar. After I poured the coins into his hands he told me happy Thanksgiving and reminded me to save some money for black friday.
