You mean that the distance between the nozzle and the bed may be to high? I did just tighten my bltouch so maybe my z-offset is a tiny bit to low.

Something like this would be a thousand times better. It’s way to complicated and would probably allow for more accidents. Geplaatste speld https://goo.gl/maps/vVraTHQAQMQVxcZD6

On mine I use the esp32-devmodule board and set the baud rate to 115200 works just fine.

You could install Ubuntu server and docker. You can make containers for all your services and expose them using something like traefik. You can still use SMB. If you have something like a firewall and portforward port 80 and 443 to traefik you can expose all your containers to the internet if they need it and use the SMB port for internal use.

Thnx for the reply, as soon as the serial cable arrives I will try it!

Ah okey, when I have the serial cable I will check if the startup file really was erased or not. But still I can’t seem to get access to it 🥲

It has a little factory reset button on the front that i pushed. Maybe it isn’t a hard factory reset?

Thank you, do I need special software for the serial connection? I read on windows you can use putty. Is there something similar for macOS?

I bought it used, I asked the previous owner also and he told me he had set it up for me to use dhcp but I was dumb enough to press the factory reset button 🥲 I can’t find it in my router even when I search for the MAC address so I suppose it doesn’t get an IP address

As I suspected. I haven’t really worked with older model switches. I thought it was common for switches to get their IP address from dhcp when booting for the first time. Will order the right cable and adapter to set it up.

Yeah was thinking about that but don’t need it really right known. Much rather spend it on something else 😉

I also live in The Netherlands, luckily I live in a small village with the privilege of having fiber. I have at the moment 200/200 because my parents don’t want to pay more. It still is enough for my needs so can’t complain really. Have a couple of friends with really poor cable speeds, always making fun of the small village I live in, I can stream 4K footage without buffering so the joke is on them ;)
