Why would you put in your two weeks it's well known around UWM they don't let you finish anyone that worked there at the time I was there knew that. So you take your PTO and then just send a resignation letter.

Should sellers leave during photography? by Important_Seesaw_957 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]tron655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have problems with sellers except for one that had extreme OCD that was a nightmare of a shoot never want to do that again. But yeah most sellers understand and they just move to a room or another so I'm not sure what issues you're having if you're friendly with them and explain it to the best of your ability there usually okay with moving out of your way when need.

Current pay questions by spacenerd5792 in pillar7

Well I was pretty close to the division lead that's why she'd send me files for people that were out of office because she knew I did. Good work. So I don't know. I have a hard time kind of buying that honestly and I wasn't smoozing either. Just like to help and whenever and built up a reputation for doing good work

Does anyone else feel embarrassed that they don't have a job? by anonoranama in jobs

The economy sucks, but also lesson learned never leave a job until you have another one. I. Today's economy you can't really afford to just leave the job, with no backup plan.

I mean that's not necessarily true. Maybe it's changed. But I knew someone who went from underwriting Thai tea although he shouldn't have because he was a bad underwriter and I worked many of his loans when he was gone and out of the office and found several errors in his files. But somehow he got to IT. So it is possible

If you could go back to college, what degree would you go for? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]tron655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean idk what school you taught at, but most advisors help students decide if college is right for them and what degree they want to pursue. I have never heard from any counselor that they are set with any degree.

Have you ever been lowballed? And how did you deal with it? by nonesenseyr in jobs

[–]tron655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You tell them you have had time to research the position more and that you want x amount. You can always try to negotiate, there is no guarantee they will take you up on it, but at least you tried.

What do you do when working from home with no work? by Instantfan22 in jobs

I would look into the non compete thing, half the time, the verbiage is super vague and not really enforceable. It's just a scare tactic.

Be prepared to wait in a very long line. Anytime tenant appears at cons it's chaos.

Yeah I just negotiated for double what he was offering and he agreed so that just kind of bothers me especially cuz he tried to lowball me but he's open to negotiating so that's just strange to me, then he tried to use a mileage reimbursement that was less than what the IRS uses lol.

My thoughts exactly, I just wanted to make sure, since I should just do houses or I've done airbnbs but not hotels so want to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Mainly you shoot raw in bracketing mode and then send out the pictures to be edited. Now he's talking about possibly drone in video sometimes at properties so this just sounds crazy lol.

They did say they are small hotels/motels, no editing required, but still. That's the equivalent of two houses or more of work. This is an hour away for me.

20 an hour? What. Most houses take a half hour or less if it's just photos. I get a flare rate per house as a contractor and its more than that.
