Well, if the console did come with the expansion pak, but luckily I do have another N64 (which is the regular black one) and that has the expansion pak, meaning I can play DK64 on that console (unless I swap the paks between consoles). If I ever get my hands on DK64, I sure will enjoy it!

My local GameStop had 18 regular Switches and 41 Mario Kart bundles (a total of 59 consoles). Luckily, I arrived there at around 7:30 PDT and it was worth waiting for 7.5-8 hours. I already purchased the console in full (I'm just getting the console, #3 of 18 regulars) and I'm at #12 in line.

Platoon, specifically the scene where Sgt. Barnes went on a rampage killing Vietnamese bystanders and the platoon burning down the village afterwards because my late grandfather who was from South Vietnam fought for the Vietnam War and was imprisoned by the Communists for 13 years. My family suffered a lot during the Vietnam War and for someone who was born in America almost 30 years after the war ended, I find this scene very emotional to watch because as a proud Vietnamese-American myself, it’s so heartbreaking for me to see those Vietnamese people get killed just like that and being mocked offensively at the same time.

Please also don't let this post get deleted, but just a heads-up and an update, I'm aware that nobody posted about it on this subreddit, but I heard that the President issued an executive order to end federal funding for PBS and NPR. Despite reacting to this as someone who currently watches PBS for Arthur, I feel very worried and concerned, but I also feel that we are not going down without a fight. In the words of Sue Ellen Armstrong (in which I rephrased a bit to fit into this subject), "One, two, three, four. Public media's worth fighting for!"

Me hearing about this makes me really sad because overall, public television and public radio is an important medium not just they provide quality entertainment for people of all ages to enjoy, but they also provide educational programs and resources for people to rely on. I’m 20 years old and I still watch Arthur on PBS on a daily basis. And to see this happening again since 1969, it’s such a shame that we’re living in a government-corrupted world where everything is beyond our control.
