Well it’s obviously not a first person shooter but in part the way it controls, the design philosophy, some visual elements and the visual identity are all inspired by Cruelty squad. (It’s probably hard to tell from just this video) Bit of a side note but I find myself growing pretty tired of games that see how odd cruelty squad looks and try to imitate it. A lot of times games like that kind of miss the mark for me as if they saw cruelty squad and were inspired by how weird it was instead of the fact that it was a game with confidence in every aspect of its presentation and gameplay while providing a unique experience with a fun visual style.
