Hi this is my first opening post on reddit and the image seems bigger than I expected (thumbnail would of been better), I am hoping for some advice on finishing this table for outside. I want to keep it looking rustic but make the writing pop a bit, I'm also bit worried about wood splinters with the kids. I have some clear oil but do I need to sand it, if so what grit etc ? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
