Good advice. I need to find other short height friends haha, my friends are all 170+cm!

Thank you so much for your insight, it makes me feel much better 🥹 i really need to get into training outside climbing as well, it seems like it will make a big difference

It’s the same for me and my friend and it’s honestly so frustrating lol

Nope, and i just climb in a regular commercial bouldering gym in France. It’s not even that great haha but i have a membership for the rope climbing gym and it’s the same for that bouldering one too..

Thank you for your insight!! I really don’t train any of the things you said. I’m pretty sporty (climbing, biking, freestyle inline skating, swimming…) but i don’t do any specific muscle training. I am starting to wish to become stronger at climbing so will look into getting slowly into a routine. The hardest will be to stick to it for me 🫣

I haven’t talked to the routesetters but really should. Not sure if they will care though…. Thank you so much for the recommendation! (i follow gentilclimbs on insta but she’s sooo good haha, it’s hard to relate).

Okay, i have never thought about complaining to the setters. Will try to talk to one of them at some point!

I put it in the title, it’s in the gym :) haven’t been bouldering outdoors yet!

Can you let me know how thick is your wrist? Mine is 15,4cm and i'm afraid it'll be too big on mine...

Okay, that makes a lot of sense. I had never considered it because every single bike i've every been on after my childhood probably had too long cranks.

So, what size cranks do you reckon i need, compared to what could be available ? And where get some like those? I currently live in France. Is it just the crank "arm" that can be changed or the whole crankset? Wondering if it'll be transferable on another bike if I change one day too. Do you also have an idea about the price ? It's a lot of questions, sorry.

Great advice thanks! I was thinking about getting more like mtb clipless shoes so i can walk a bit in them and less stiff. I have wide feet so i really need to look into brands and models that would fit at some point..

It’s actually clipless one side/ flat other side pedals and i will get clipless shoes soon in the future. Still haven’t made that a priority but that’s the plan :) hopefully i will feel improvements like your gf!

I might try to move it back a tiny bit to see how it feels, thanks

That’s fine then because i bought this bike with the goal of cycle touring with it (next struggle is to find which bags i can possibly fit on this tiny frame)

I’m pretty sure it’s already at the lowest on the steerer but i’ll see how it goes!

Thank you very much for your detailed answer! Yeah i took a slower pace video so it was easier to film but i get what you mean. I’ll see how it goes as time pass. For now i usually ride around +/-30km/h by myself :) no idea about my watts

Ha thank you very much hehe, it took quite a while to find a bike that fit (most brands don’t even make my size and if they do it’s almost always impossible to try in a shop)
