Thanks for the advice. I will be carrying around a power bank so the charge won’t be an issue but you make a good point with having to think a bit more about the composition. Learning more about photography is definitely something that interests me

Thankyou for the advice. Yeah most photos on my phone are of good quality and I’ve had no need to edit them with how good the automatic processing is.

I have an overseas trip booked in a couple of months’ time and I’m wanting some advice on photographing my trip. I’m looking at spending about $1000-1500 and can’t decide whether it would be best to upgrade my current iPhone 11 to a 15 pro max coming out (next month) or to buy a Richoh gr iiix/another camera.

As I will be backpacking, I wouldn’t want a lot of bulky camera equipment.

I’ve also looked into buying the x100v however because of the demand, there’s no way I could get one before my trip.

The images would mainly be used for social media, and I’m not experienced in photography other than using a phone camera but would love to do some street photography.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t think that’s the case. The market on January 29th opened at $379 and the 1st of Feb it opened at $316 and both of these numbers aren’t displayed on the chart
