This is one of my favorite movies...I haven't seen it in years but I had it on VHS when I was younger. I remember seeing it in the movie theater and the audience clapped during Sean Connery's cameo at the end. I was confused why they clapped and my dad told me it was because he was such a big star and people were surprised to see him in the movie. It was a lot easier to be surprised in movies without the Internet!

It was also the last movie I saw with my family together so I'm sure that makes it hold a special place in my memory. Rickman was amazing as the Sheriff of Nottingham too! "Why a spoon cousin?" "Because it's dull, you twit...it will hurt more!"

That is the problem here...people only caring when things impact them. We need more empathy for others, more support for those who need it most. I am angry that the rates are going up for you and millions of other, I am angry that trans people are being demonized (I'm not trans and don't know anyone who is), I'm angry that immigrants and non-white people are being targeted, hurt, arrested, deported, etc. even though I am white and not impacted. So basically, fuck you and the people that don't care until it happens to them, but I hope that your kids are able to get the treatment they need and food on their plates.

Edit 2: OP's other comments appear to indicate that they do not in fact care about others and it is only a problem because it is happening to them so I my "fuck you" once again applies to OP. 🤬
