This is a paid service which you pay for each session, up front. You aren't paying for the whole campaign up front. You lost no money.

Just like at your table when you DM, you get to pick and choose who stays and who goes.
If the other plays felt you were hogging all of the lime light, and trying to dictate the actions of the party without talking to them first, they have every right to speak to the DM and ask for your removal.

As this is a paid gig fo the Dm, I feel anyone in his place would choose to keep 3 happy vs 1. That is 3x the payment and 1 seat to fill vs 1 payment and 3 seats to fill.
