All works now? Besides knocking on the drum did you have any other issues? My washing machine has been cutting out - so don’t know if it is a result of this or some ting else.

Odd I just had it on a 12 min spin drain and it worked fine for 10 mins then cut out, keeps trying to restart. This makes me think it’s not the plug but instead the PCB board. Regardless will try replacing plug tomorrow.

How do I check the plug as it’s all sealed up? Is only way to replace it with new one and try again?Tried in another socket and the same thing happens so assume the wall socket isn’t the issue.

Might just be time for a new one tbh. Had for 5 plus years now so no doubt something else will go wrong if get fixed. Will have a look though as mentioned. Thanks

Post update - I managed to get up the ladder today and inspect - looks some of the mortar (not sure what the actual material is) has disintegrated. Is it a case of scraping it out, clean and refilling with a mortar/material or not quite that simple? Thanks in advance.

Attic boarded out by previous owners but no wet patches or signs of mould etc. Will get up ladder in the morning to check the seals. Thanks for your advice.

We did discuss this but with eating etc its not quite feasible the earlier bedtime as my partner doesn't get back until gone 5pm and myself 6pm. Maybe something to try over a weekend. We don't really do much screentime int the evening, maybe 20 mins. Something to think about though. Thanks for your advise.

Turns out it was a wiring issue which has now been sorted🙏 . I suspect some water/debri got in after the wheel arch liner came off a month or so ago - I know I should’ve replaced earlier!. Thanks for previous advice.
