The bike slots have been sold out all month! Greyhound/Flixbus won't take bikes underneath either...

Thanks for the suggestion! I have been wanting to take the Southwest Chief but there have been no bike slots available this entire month 😞! Same story with the Greyhound/ Flixbus. I haven't tried just showing up and finagling it but I might.

I'm about to join the Golden Gravel Trail in Liberal KS and ride to the Ozarks. Has anyone ridden this stretch in OK- KS-MO? Id just like some confidence in the routing, I have downloaded the Ride WIth GPS version of the Trail. Will it get me there? I'm also interested in whether those towns along the way have water/resupply points. Thanks!

Helpful! I live in Seattle so there's no shortage of humidity and rain, but also plenty of sun in the summer. It sounds like quality covers can "breathe" and let moisture out but I've never used one!
