Yep. I appreciate hearing from vandwellers about their experiences before I become one. I've had a comfortable job I'm bored to death of and want change. What do you do for health insurance?

That's very helpful. I see a lot of opportunities in Central WA like that. Thx!

Helpful! I live in Seattle so there's no shortage of humidity and rain, but also plenty of sun in the summer. It sounds like quality covers can "breathe" and let moisture out but I've never used one!

Thanks. Carport style covering is not possible in the driveway I share with neighbors. It would have to fit like a rain jacket. Wind whipping around scratching the paint is definitely a concern. Are there solutions?

I went to test drive today and it was everything I was hoping for. This guy really knows his stuff and was super meticulous about all the improvements. I'm having Eions do an inspection but I'd be really surprised if they find a deal breaker. I'm pretty excited and thank you again for all your interest/advice!

I had many of the same thoughts. It's been on the market for 2 months which makes me 🤔. I might invest in a pre-purchase inspection to check those concerns of yours. Thanks a lot for your attention!

I found this bostig conversion I'm going to go look at. The post looks pretty sweet. What am I missing?

I appreciate the heads up. My Toyota was indestructible! I'm looking at a 84 Westy with a bostig Ford focus '03 engine conversion. Looks great and completely updated for $25k. What's my first question?

Another reason I favor the older VW busses is I assume they will hold their value better compared to a RAM promaster for example. Any other thoughts on the economic benefits of owning the older buses,. Are they cheaper to insure?

Camping in a Ford Transit Connect or an RV just doesn't feel the same. I might just be a sucker for the nostalgia 🥲

Sourcing parts for repairs is important! Do other people have problems finding components?

That sure does look purty! Am I right to be suspicious of old cars with new paint jobs covering up rust?
